Uncle John Selch died on last Tuesday evening of Bright’s disease. The burial occurred on Thursday at the Simpson graveyard.

Uncle John Selch departed this life last Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 6 o’clock p.m. He was 73 years of age, and had been a member of the M. E. church for over forty years. He leaves a wife and five children, three boys and two girls to mourn their loss. The funeral was held Friday morning at 11 o’clock, con­ducted by Rev. Byron Carter. Burial in the Simpson cemetery.
