Andrew [sic] Shepard, who has been living with George Wyles on the A. Dunlap farm north of town, died sud­denly on Wednesday morning of apo­plexy. He was getting ready to do some plowing when he was seen to throw up his hands and sink to the ground, dying immediately. Deceased was sixty-five years of age and leaves a wife and sev­eral married children.

The undersigned coroner of Johnson county, State of Indiana, did on the 26th day of March, 1890, hold an inquest on the body of Addison [sic] Shepard, late of said county, found dead in Clark Township, in said county on the 26th day of March, 1890.

Having viewed the body and heard the testimony of witnesses, I find that the deceased came to his death by reason of disease of the heart.
