James Garrard, esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky by virtue & in consideration of a Land office treasury warrant number 7500.  There is granted by the said Commonwealth unto John Bryan a certain tract or parcel of land, containing five hundred acres by Survey bearing date the 26 day of September one thousand Seven hundred and ninety eight lying & being in the County of Campbell on the Licking and Bounded as followeth;

To wit; Beginning forty poles South of General Clarke's third Encampment from Bryan's Station at three Sugar trees, Hickory and Iron wood on the top of a ridge running East One hundred forty one and a half poles crossing the Camp Creek at eighty nine poles to four Sugar trees white Elm and Ash on the South Side of a Hill; thence North two hundred and Eighty Poles crossing the East fork of Said Creek at one hundred adn Eight poles to an ash two Sugar trees and Hickory; thence west two hundred and Eighty three poles crossing Same Creek at two hundred and Seventy Six poles about Thirty poles from the mouth of Said Creek two large poplars and Sugar trees in Lancasters Bottom; thence South two hundred and Eighty three poles crossing same Creek at four poles and two crossing Parkers line that Court North thirty Eight degrees East one hundred and Seventy two poles from the River thence East to the Beginning.  On the Sixth day of June in the year of Our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Ninety Nine.
