Original Survey No 2959 to Amon B Rice; Acreage-374 1/2 in Campbell County; Watercourse-Licking River; Survey date-9 Feb 1798; Original book 5, page 36-37 to Charles Morgan & James Taylor & their heirs; Grant date-12 Mar 1799

 James Garrard, Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky by virtue & in consideration of a Land office treasury warrant No 12810.  There is granted by the said Commonwealth to Charles Morgan and James Taylor, assee of Aman B Rice, a Certain tract or parcel of land, containing three hundred Seventy four and a half acres by Survey bearing date the 9th day of February 1798 lying & being in Campbell County on Licking River and bounded as followeth to wit.

Beginning at a Maple and Buckeye on the West Bank of licking corner to a survey of 3939 acres ___? of Land made for said Rice on the aforesaid entry and running down the meanders of Licking binding on said survey to three sugar trees and a Beech on the lower side of the Mouth of a branch; thence East twenty five Poles Crossing Licking to a Beech in the line of James Taylor's land; thence with said line South thirty nine degrees East ninety poles up Licking to a sugar tree with another line of said Taylor's land North forty six and a half degrees East one hundred and twenty Poles to a Beech; thence East thirty four Poles to a sugar tree on the side of a hill; thence South Seven hundred and forty four poles Crossing Licking to the Beginning on the 12th day of March in the year of our Lord 1799.
