Original survey No 3976 to Reuben Taylor; Acreage-1272 in Campbell Co; Watercourse-Licking; Survey date-28 Sep 1798; Original book 6, page 101-102 to Reuben Taylor & heirs; Grant date-19 Dec 1799

James Garrard, Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky by virtue & in consideration of a Land office four Treasury warrant Nos 7994, 7996, 7997 & 7999, Entered 2d January 1783.  There is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Reuben Taylor , a Certain tract or parcel of land, containing one thousand two hundred and Seventy two acres by Survey bearing date the 28th day of September 1798 lying & being in the County of Campbell on the waters of Licking and bounded as followeth to wit.

Beginning at a white oak the North Corner of John Mosby's 9th Survey of 1000 Acres thence South twenty four degrees west forty three poles to a Sugar tree and hickory trees; thence North fifty three degrees west one hundred and fifty poles to two Sugar trees and one hickory; thence North forty five degrees East three hundred and fourteen poles to a red oak, white oak and Elm; thence South fifty degrees East five hundred and thirty Six poles to an ash walnut and hickory trees in the line of Said Ruben Taylor's Survey of 3230 acres; thence with said Line South twenty two degrees west four hundred and fifty poles to a Stake in another Corner of said Mosby's 9th Survey; thence with the Line of the same North thirty five degrees west five hundred and Seventy Eight poles to the beginning on the nineteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and ninety nine.
