Bellevue Cemetery

A number of workmen employed by the Union Light, Heat and Power Company, in digging trenches Wednesday unearthed a skull and several bones on Sixth Avenue, Bellevue. The excavations were being made on the site of a former colored cemetery and it is supposed that the bones found are those of a negro.

The ground belonged years ago to Major James Berry, father of ex-Congressman Albert S Berry of Newport.
