A minstrel will be given by the members of the negro Community
Center of Newport at Park av. School Auditorium, May 6, 1921 for white people
only. A very interesting program has been arranged with several numbers of
unusual merit. The participates have been working on the program for several
months and those who have seen them rehearse pronounce it a real old time
minstrel show.
The program will be repeated at the Colored Community Center at a later date for colored people only. All funds derived from the show will go toward the maintenance of the colored center.
