FORMER SLAVE DEAD
Mrs. Edith Burke, 92, colored, one of the oldest former slaves in
Campbell County, died at her home, 314 Isabella st. Newport, Sunday morning. The
funeral will take place Tuesday morning from the residence. The deceased was
popularly known as "Aunt Edith."
