Found Dead-Elijah Craig, 72, colored, of 519
Columbia street, was found dead in bed yesterday morning by his niece when she
went to awaken him. The whining of a small dog caused his niece to go to
the bedside, and she found his life was extinct.
Coroner Higgins was notified and returned a verdict of death caused by heart disease.
