Ran away from the farm of Wm S Grant, in Alexandria, Campbell county, Kentucky, on Licking River, about ten miles from Newport, about the 6th of December last. A Negro man named Frank; about 40 years of age, black about 5 feet 7 inches; slim made; thin visage; high forehead; large mouth; looks down when spoken to; and is very lame in one of his hips, believe to be the right, and withal a great villain. His clothing was of the following description; a box coat, of grey janes; janes pantaloons, black velvet vest, black hat and shoes.
The above reward will be given for his apprehension and securing him in any jail out of the state, or half that sum if taken in the state, and secured so that I get him again, and if brought to me all reasonable charges paid. Information to be given to me in Garrard county, Ky. or to Wm S Grant, Alexandria, Campbell county, Ky.
