MATRIMONIAL-William Harris, colored, applied to
Deputy County Court Clerk R J Radin, yesterday, for a license to marry Henrietta
Graham, colored. The license was granted, being the first
one ever issued to a colored man in this country, and perhaps State, for such a
purpose.
The marriage was duly solemnized by one of our magistrates.
