SUIT BY EX-SLAVES
James Graham, Louis Hawkins Parker, Susan Howard and husband and
W B Hamilton, all slaves under the late Colonel James Taylor, filed a writ in
the Circuit Court of Campbell County yesterday through their attorneys, Hawkins
& Hawkins against the Taylor estate to recover lands bequeathed to them under
the will of General James Taylor.
