Funeral services for Adlai C Sandlin, World War veteran and formerly a business man in Newport, will be conducted at 10 am Friday at the J J Radel Funeral hom. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Members of the Rankin Prout Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars will hold services at 8 pm tonight.
Mr. Sandlin leaves his widow, Mrs. Alma Boden Sandlin; a daughter, Betty; his parents Mr. and Mrs. L C Sandlin; two brothers, Ernest and Fennell, and five sisters, Mrs. Esther Montgomery, Mrs. Era Kelly, Mrs. Mayme Swanner, Mrs. Maggie Terry and Miss Bertha Sandlin.
