VETERANS-The members of the Wallace G Costigan Post No 11 American Legion met Friday night in Newport and elected an Executive Committee, consisting of Dr. Shaler Berry, Dr. William Krieger, William L Glazier, Joseph Martin and Ns Kilpatrick. The following new members were admitted:

MARRIAGE-Miss Bess Steele, 131 Ross av. Bellevue, daughter of Mrs. Lytia Steele, and A L Brauntz, Newport, will be married at the home of the bride Sept 5. Brauntz is widely known throughout the state because of his activities as a past commander of the James Wallace Costigan Post, Newport. During the last 14 years he had been employed by the American Railway Express co. He is now supply agent for the company at Cincinnati.
