Old Baptist Spilman Family Cemetery
Alexandria
Originally the Spilman family cemetery, located back from the street and
adjacent to the grounds on which the present First Baptist Church of Alexandria,
KY now stands.
The inscriptions on some of the stones are no longer readable, other stones are
broken to pieces, and some are completely gone, but the following can still be

I visited this site in 1986 and the stones are all thrown over the hill behind
the church and the grave yard has been blacktopped for a parking lot. Betty
