Married Nellie R Cooper of Vanceburg Nov 21, 1918. Three daughters; Ramona, Reita and Ruth. 

Engaged in legal practice in Newport; City Attorney in Clifton (now part of Newport) 1926. Democrat; Baptist; Member Jr. OUAM; Moose; Red Men; president and organizer East Side Tie Club; Appointed a Colonel on staff of Governor Ruby Laffoon 1935. Office-Newport National Bank Building.
