Alonzo Frederich Bechtold

INJURED-Alonzo Bechtold, 3, son of John Bechtold, employed at Ershell undertaking establishment in Newport, and who lives in the Rink Building at Seventh and York, was painfully bruised by being struck by a car on York Street Wednesday. He had started across the street to purchase some candy and paid no attention to an approaching car. The motorman could not stop the car in time, but worked the fender to perfection and saved the life of the youngster.

His face was cut in several places and his body was bruised. Dr. Frank Locke attended him.
