YOUNGEST YANK-Aloysius Grau, 18, of 1005 Boone st. Newport, has the distinction of being the youngest soldier in years and the oldest in point of service in Campbell co. He has returned to Newport from France, where he served 28 months with the American Army. He enlisted in Battery B, Eighth Field Artillery, April 21, 1917.
At that time he was but 16 and the youngest soldier from Campbell county.
