FT THOMAS-Private Arthur A Thompson, Troop I, Twelfth Cavalry, was sentence to a dishonorable discharge and two and a half years confinement at Ft Sheridan for desertion. Private Thompson was the prisoner who made a daring dash for liberty last fall and was shot at by a number of sentries. He was wounded in the arm by one of the bullets.
