Augusta Otting

NEWPORT

Mrs. Augusta, the venerable mother of Mr. William Otting, died at her home, 638 Robert street, last Tuesday evening of heart disease.  the old lady had just stepped from the dining room into the kitchen to see if the hydrant was frozen, when she fell forward in an unconscious condition. Members of the family ran to her assistance and carried her to the bed, a physician was summoned, but it was too late. She had expired. Coroner Dr. F A Davis was notified and rendered a decision of death from heart disease.

The deceased leaves eight children, all grown, to mourn her loss.  W A Otting, Charles Otting, John Otting, Louis Otting, Ed Otting and Mrs. Dolman, Mrs. Hook and Miss Josephine Otting.

The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from the deceased's late residence at 1:30 pm.
