FUNERAL-The funeral of Burwell Occhier, 82, who died Monday in Newport will take place on Thursday afternoon at 2:30, with services at the Presbyterian Church on Overton st. He was well known in Newport and resided here for many years, where he was highly respected. For 60 years he was an expert pattern maker.

He assisted in the building of the Suspension and L&N Bridges, crossing the Ohio River. Three daughters, all prominent in Newport, survive him. They are Mrs. William Mannering, wife of Former Water Works Commissioner; Mrs. J H Grigdall and Mrs. William Whittaker of Cincinnati.

FUNERAL-The funeral of Burwell Occhier will take place Thursday afternoon 1t 2:30 from the home. Services will be conducted at the Presbyterian Church by Rev J P Whitehead, pastor. The pallbearers will be John Beucher, C O Marz, J Bertelsman and John Gleason.

BURIED-The remains of Burwell Occhier were buried Thursday afternoon in Evergreen Cemetery. Many beautiful floral tributes were offered.
