POW-Listed as prisoner of war is PFC Byron D Harris, son of Mrs. Jacquetta Blanch, 311 Boone street, Dayton. Pvt. Harris enlisted in February of 1941 at Ft Thomas and was sent to the Philippines in July of that year. A former resident of Bellevue, he attended Bellevue High School.
