SOLDIER INJURED-Charles R Harker, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F Harker, 913 Putnam street, Newport, is recovering from injuries suffered in an auto accident near Morristown Tenn. Mr. Harker, who held the rank of Lieutenant until he was separated from the Army at Ft Jackson SC, recently was en route home when the accident occurred. He suffered serious cuts and lacerations of the face and body.
