Clifford Specht, 10t and York streets, Newport, who requested to be sent to Camp Zachary Taylor, Louisville, before regular mobilization time, will leave for that camp Saturday. Specht, because of his knowledge of medicine will be put in that department at camp. His father also is a druggist.

Thieves early Monday entered [Clifford] Specht Pharmacy, Walnut st and Electric av. Southgate and carried out two cash registers and a revolver. A dog, owned by Specht, is believed to have frightened the thieves away and they abandoned the tobaccos.
