Petty Officer Cornelius R Rothe, son of Mrs. Charles Rothe, 1108
Ann street, Newport, is in a US Naval hospital in the Hawaiian Islands, his
mother was advised. It was not learned whether or not he had been injured in the
line of duty.
Before enlisting in the Navy Petty Officer Rothe was employed by the Peter Cartridge Co. Cincinnati.
