In 1794 Charles Daniel II arrived in Campbell County with his whole family of eleven children (five sons) and several slaves from Virginia. He was named a Judge of the Quarterly Sessions at the first court session. These would have been some of the first settlers of these lands and their burial sites have been forgotten. I believe that I have been able to discover the three cemeteries where they are buried. The Daniels would have originally owned these lands that they are buried on. Below is a suggested list of people buried there on Charles II’s land.
