Daniel J Kavanaugh has been appointed as postmaster of Silver Grove Ky. on the recommendation of A B Rouse, congressman from this district, according to dispatches from Washington.
Kavanaugh will succeed William Rice, who has resigned.

Daniel Joseph Kavanaugh was born 30 Sep 1883 in Covington, the son of Dennis and Catharine (Doyle) He died 29 Nov 1923 in Silver Grove Ky. and was buried in St Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati. He never married but worked as a druggist in Covington before working in Newport.
