At a meeting of the Dayton Board of Education last night, teachers in the public school were elected as follows:

Mary McVean, principal of High School; Virginia Venable, Elizabeth Quinby, Alice Vogelbach, Fannie Tresise, Jennie Gibson, Belle Tieman, Ida Ross, Belle Hounshell, Mary Hux, Ada Hewetson, Flora B Jackson, Lora Lindsey, Lyda Casey, Blanch Yungblut, Esther Betsch, Nannie Lamb, Clara Lutton, Nellie Kendrick, Minnie Martin, G W Meyer, Florence Cuppy.
 

Applications were received from Jeanette Swing as teacher of drawing and painting.
