James Hewetson
Dutton James Hewetson was born July 1843 in Ireland. He enlisted in the Union Army 13 Aug 1862 from Newport Ky. serving in the 8th Cavalry Co A-B, for one year. He then enlisted in the 2nd Ohio Cavalry Co 2 at Camp Dennison, Cincinnati. He mustered out 10 Oct 1864 in Columbus. He received a pension in 1880. Dutton married his first wife, Sarah Jane Robinson 30 Aug 1870 in Newport. He married his second wife, Mary Jane Bleyle 24 June 1879, daughter of Roman Felician Bleyle and Marie Katherine Walters.
