LETTERS-Editor Kentucky Post

I am a man 46 years old and am able bodied and have a family of six and can do a good day's work. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall and weigh 145 pounts. I have been a painter all my working life except when I was younger, I drove rivets and did assembling, but at his times it seems as bad as they need men, I cannot get work either from the employment agency or otherwise.

They say speed up defense and they cannot get men, but where are the jobs? I have run completely out of money going here and there. I have a clean record and am also a former soldier and as I write this letter, the children are asked where they can get something to eat. I do not want charity. I want work so my family can live as other people do.
