HARDIN FUNERAL
The funeral of the late Edward S Hardin of Newport, took place
Friday afternoon from the family residence. William Nelson Post of which the
deceased was a prominent member, headed by a drum corps, attended in a body.
Members of Col. James W Albert Post also attended and participated in the
exercises.
The interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, the members of the GAR escorting the remains to the head of Monmouth street.
