S. Sgt. Edward W Limes, 23, husband of Mrs. Josephine Limes, of 8 Dunn street, Newport, has been killed in action, the War Department informed his wife. Reported as missing in action on Apri 12, 1941, when his plane failed to return from a bombing mission over Germany, Sgt. Limes was stationed as a radio operator on a heavy bomber. He was stationed overseas for seven months.
