Elmer C Heckel, 1004 Columbia street, Newport, lifelong resident of Newport, is a candidate for city commissioner. He is a World War veteran, officer of the Unemployed Association and a member of the Social Justice Union.

Heckel died 15 Feb 1967 in Dayton Ky and was buried in St Stephen Cemetery.
