Elmer Frank Ruschman

Tech Sergt. Elmer F Ruschman, 219 Riser road, Melbourne, has been decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross for "extraordinary achievement" on B-17 Flying Fortress bombing attacks on enemy Europe.

Sgt. Ruschman, 23 years old, a Fortress radio operator, is a veteran of more than a score of combant missions. He wears the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters. Before entering the service, Oct 1, 19342, he was a clerk for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. He is the son of Peter N Ruschman.
