RESIGNS
Miss Elsie Bernhardt, one of the Newport teachers at the Park av. school, has handed in her resignation to Superintendent Regenstein, to take effect at onece. Miss Bernhardt has accepted a position with the Bureau of Forestry at Washington DC and will make that city her future home.
The Board of Education will probably appoint her successor at the regular meeting Monday night.
