Miss Emma Herringer entertained with a progressive euchre on the evening of Jan 24. The gentlemen's prizes were as follows:

First prize was awarded to George Tarvin, a shaving set: second, James Nelson, a pipe; third, William Weber, a pipe; the booby prize, a baby doll to George Weber.

Ladies prize; First, sugar shell and butter knife, awarded to Mary Rowe; second, butter knife and sugar shell to Julia Watson; third, a jewel to Annie Shingshan; booby prize was given to Lila Treavor.

Refreshments were served after which dancing was enjoyed from 11 to 12.
