Cincinnati Enquirer, 3 December 1881, page 7

NEWPORT

FIRE-The alarm of fire last night about ten o'clock was caused by the burning of a lot of patterns in the tailor shop of Frank Henry, on York street, next to the First National Bank. The fire originated in the rear part of the house from some unknown cause.

The loss will probably be over $100. The Department was prompt as usual.
