FT THOMAS-Flem Mahaney, one of the general prisoners, who made his escape from the post guardhouse last April, was apprehended at Eminence Ky. by the civil authorities. He has been brought back to the post to serve his sentence.

Enoch Owan, of Newcastle Ky. has informed the commanding officer
that Flinn Mahoney, one of the seven prisoners who made their escape last April
from the post guardhouse, has been recognized as a man residing in that vicinity
and requested information from the military authorities as to Mahoney's status.
The post commander requested that Mahoney be arrested and brought to this post.

FT THOMAS-Flem Mahoney, the prisoner who distinguished himself by making his escape from the guardhouse several months ago by cutting his way through a door, and who was recently returned to this post and tried for escape by the general court martial, now has an extra six months to serve at hard labor, as a reward for his cutting out abilities.
