APOPLEXY VICTIM

Fred Wagenlander, 60, of Chesapeake and Ohio avenues, Bonnie Leslie died suddenly Friday while awaiting for a street car at the Bonnie Leslie car stop. Walter B. Hughes, Campbell-co. coroner, said death was due to apoplexy.  Wagenlander, a sheet metal worker at the Charles Droege Madisonville, was on his way to work when he died. Relatives said he was in good health when he left home.

Newport Police were called, but Wagenlander wad dead on arrival.  Wagenlander was a lifelong resident of Campbell-co and was widely known.  He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Francis de Sales Church, and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Union. 

Besides his widow, Anna, he is survived by seven children: Joseph, Raymond, Ardon and Clayton Wagenlander, Mrs. Ameda Wohrley, Mrs. Viola Kaul and Mrs. Marcella Back, all of Campbell-co.
