DIED IN NEWPORT
George Jackson, of West Seventh Street, Newport, died at 1 o'clock Christmas morning at his home after a lingering illness. He was about 45 and leaves five grown children. He was one of the best known men in Newport and for years was an entertainer of ability. His health failed several years ago.
