Retired Harness Maker Was Lifelong Resident of Newport
The funeral of George Voges, who died Friday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clem Ehmet, 1140 Park Avenue, Newport, will be conducted at 8:30 o’clock Tuesday from the Radel funeral home, Newport. Requiem high mass will be sung at 9 o’clock at St. Francis de Sales Church, Newport. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Mr. Voges, who was 77 years old, was a life-long resident of Newport. He was a retired harness maker. Three other daughters, Mrs. I. Emark, Newport; Mrs. E. Stroschen, Cincinnati, and Mrs. C. Perry, Columbus, Ohio; a son, William Voges, Newport; 20 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, survive him.
