Alexandria Lodge of Masons and Newport Commandery, Knights Templar, will form an escort of honor at the funeral corgege of Harry W Abbott, 50, of 639 Maple av. Newport, who will be buried Wednesday. Abbott died Monday. Funeral services are to be conducted from the home at 1:30 pm. The Masons and Knights Templar of which Abbott was a member, will escort the body to the First Presbyterian Church, Newport, where services will be held at 2 pm.
Abbott was general manager of the M M Allen Supply Co. of Newport, former president of the Newport Chamber of Commerce and was connected with the Business Mens Club, Community Service and Newport Board of Education. He was also a member of Twin City Council Junior Order.
He is survived by his widow, Emma Abbott and two brothers, William B and James E Abbott of Cincinnati.
