PROMOTION-Harvey O Lipscomb of 418 Thornton street, Newport Ky. has been promoted to the rank of corporal in the Post Military Police Company her. Corporal Lipscomb belongs to a new outfit organized recently under the command of Capt. Adolph Eberle, former police lieutenant in Detroit Mich. and designated as permanent police unit for Ft Custer.
Duty of Corporal Lipscomb as a military policeman is to safeguard the conduct of soldiers both on and off the reservation, and to direct traffic whenever the need arises. Corporal Lipscomb does most of his work in nearby Battle Creek or Kalamazoo, Mich. where military police cover regular beats.
