Awarded Certificates in Ft. Thomas Health Contest

     Pupils in the above groups were among the first to produce health certificates in the Blue Ribbon Health Contest being conducted at the Samuel Woodfill School, Ft. Thomas.  The certificates are signed by a physician and testify that the pupils have passed the required tests in weight, posture, vision and throat and teeth conditions.  All pupils who present certificates will be awarded a blue ribbon by the State Board of Health next month.  The contest ends on May 3. 

 

     The pupils in the smaller group are from left to right:  Chilton Castle, Marie Miracle, Alice Thorpe, Harriet Jane Grizzell, Charles Mockabee, Henry Pogue and Stanley Wetherill.  Those in the other group are:  Fred Hall, Rodney Hicks, Helen Meyer, Irene Alverson, Betty Hilliard, Joe Turney, Sara Fields, Mary Edgar Kenney, Julius Evans, Joe Phister, Allan Fulmer, Mildred Richter and Roderick Wetherill.
