Helen Louise Foertmeyer

Helen Louis Foertmeyer was born 29 May 1889 in Bellevue Ky. the daughter of William Louis Foertmeyer and Anna Marie Wunder. She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1908 and in 1912 she is working at the Public Library in Cincinnati. After her father died in 1939, she returned and worked in her father's drug store. The 1940 census shows her as the head and owner of the drugstore. In 1941 her mother Anna died and she kept working in the drugstore until selling it sometime after settling the estate of her mother.

She moved to Orange County, California and went to work with her brother, Samuel Foertmeyer, who was also a pharmacist and owned his own drug store. She died 20 June 1969 there and was buried in the Pacific View Cemetery.
