James Marshall Hedger

S SGT. James M Hedger, 28 son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hedger, of 1307 Fourth avenue, Dayton, was wounded in action Dec 13, 1944, in Luxembourg, the War Department notified the parents. Overseas since May 1944, Sgt. Hedger entered the service in October 1942.

He was previously wounded in action in the fighting on Normandy. His wife, Pauline Hedger, resides in Harrison O.

James M Hedger died 13 Dec 1944 and was buried in the Henri-Chapelle Cemetery in Herni-Chapelle, Belgium and was awarded a purple heart.
