VETERAN-James Martin, 90, died yesterday of infirmities due to old age at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. James Mehaffey, 812 Sixth av. Dayton. The funeral will be held Wednesday with services at 2 pm at the residence.
Martin served with distinction in the Civil War and was a member of Joe Hooker Post GAR. He was a retired ship carpenter, having followed the trade since he retired from the navy years ago. Bond Lodge of Odd Fellows will hold services over the remains Tuesday night.

FUNERAL-The funeral of James Martin, 90, veteran of the Civil War, will be held this afternoon from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. James Mdhaffey, 812 Sixth av. Dayton, with services at 2 pm. Members of the Joe Hooker Post GAR and Bond Lodge of Odd Fellows held services over the remains last night.
