John C Draddy

Word was received yesterday in Newport of the death near Louisville, Ky. of John C Draddy, a former well known resident of Newport and Campbell co. Draddy was at one time prominent in politics in Campbell co. and served a term in the Legislature. He had been ailing but a short time. The remains arrived here last night and were taken in charge by Funeral Director Costigan.
The funeral was held this morning with services at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment was in St Joseph Cemetery.
