AUTO ACCIDENT-John Vincent Fleischman Jr. 334 Covert Run pike, was killed instantly at 2:30 am when an auto crashed into a tree in front of 106 W Main street, Alexandria. Fleischman, the son of John V Fleischman, a foreman at the Wadsworth Watch Case Co. Dayton, died of a neck fracture, Coroner Leo Sauter said. He was pronounced dead on arrival at St Luke Hospital.

Capts. Al Seifried and Richard Gegan of the county patrol, who investigated the fatal crash, have been unable to learn which of the two youths was driving. The auto was the property of Ronald Lee McComas. Police said the demolished condition of the auto indicated the auto was traveling at a fast speed when it crashed into the tree. Police have been unable to question the McComas youth as he is still unconscious. Police were told the two youths were returning evidentially to McComas' home after attending a New Years Eve party at the home of a friend near Alexandria.
