John Sheanshang Jr. of Grants Lick, was arrested yesterday on a warrant sworn to by William Luck in Squire Darlington's court. It is alleged that Sheanshang, while riding on the Claryville, Grants Lick and Butler turnpike last Monday, refused to pay toll and then demolished the gate.

He will be given a hearing next Monday. The company controlling the pike was indicted by the grand jury for alleged failure to keep the roadway in shape.

Caught between two trucks, Clifford Fagaley, 8, son of Clifford Fagaley, Newport, was crushed to death Friday night. John Sheanshang, grocer, of 37 E 19th st. owner of one of the trucks, removed the victim to the hospital.

John Sheanshang, Clifton, suffered minor bruises and cuts above his face and neck Sunday night when his auto crashed into a tree at 16th and Alexandria pike. Sheanshang told police the lights of another auto blinded him, causing him to lose control of his auto.

Fines of $100 each were imposed on three persons on charges of unlawful sale of corn sugar after they entered pleas of guilty. They are Edward Hehman, Newport; John Sheanshang, grocer, Newport; and Arthur Berendsen, grocer, Dayton Ky.
